Drunk Rock review in Loud Fast Rules

"DRUNK ROCK" CD

Any Band that combines the punk rock and Irish folk of Flogging Molly, The Dropkick Murphys and The Pogues must be doing something right. On this debut release, THE BLOODY IRISH BOYS showcase 13 Guinness drinking greats such as "Drunk Tonight" (my pick of the bunch), "Enniscorthy In A Bottle" and "Pass Out On The Floor". Just in case you think the band may be one dimensional, they are far from it. "The Great Irish Famine" will bring a tear to the most hardened heart, as will "The Highlander's Farewell". This CD has everything, fast paced drinking songs, laments to former days, and enough passion to keep this stuck in my CD player.
